This GPStar Power Boost USB-C is an ultra low input voltage boost converter that has the ability to provide power for a variety of solutions. With an input voltage range of 0.5V up to 5.5V, it can convert your low voltage power from a typical 3V to 3.7V lithium ion battery to 5V with up to 6 amps. When operating the power boost with a 5V battery, it will act in pass-through mode.
The GPStar Power Boost USB-C also has a USB-C charging port to charge your connected lithium ion battery or to power the system at the same time. With 2 LED indicators to indicate your battery charge status.
2 pins (en/gnd) or the JST-PH connector for the connector variant are also provided where you can wire a simple toggle switch to enable or disable the device. Your battery will continue to charge whether the device is on or not.

Typical Application:
Using a battery less than 5V, such as a 3V - 3.7V lithium ion battery or series of batteries adding up to less than 5V to power a 5V system.
Charging indicators:
Green LED = The battery is charging.
Blue + Green LED = The battery is fully charged.
