Current Sensor Technology
Just supply your own power from this kit’s new “Current Sensor” to make your pack come to life when you power up your wand or throw a proton stream—all by using a power detection technology.
When connected to your GPStar Proton Pack, it can determine when you turn on your Neutrona Wand and it reacts to firing by playing the proton firing stream sounds through your Proton Pack speakers!
Polyphonic Audio
This kit provides polyphonic audio with GPStar Audio, a high fidelity polyphonic audio player.
- Your Proton Pack boots up and the idle sound effects overlay/transition smoothly.
- You Fire! While blasting away with the Proton stream you can still hear all the layers of sound effects that came before...
- Oh and let's not forget music mode. Yes while your Proton Pack is rocking out tracks from your favourite scenes you can still operate it with all of it's accompanying sound effects independently and once again layered on top of the music
- You may also notice during all this that the transitions between sound effects are smoothly layered with no janky transitions.
Powerful 15W Amplifier
The GPStar Amplifier, a beastly 15W amplifier with built-in 5V power regulator and ground loop isolator is included with the kit.
The amplifier also acts as a power hub with additional JST-XH connector pins to provide 12V or 5V for your future accessories.
Easy to upgrade to a full GPStar kit
Best of all, the GPStar Lite kit uses the same components as in the other GPStar Kits.
This makes it easy to upgrade to a full GPStar kit later when you are ready to take on modifying a Hasbro wand, outfitting a Neutrona Wand from the Ghostbusters community, or even building your own.
Upgrade at your own pace
For those wanting to take their time with upgrades there are many add-on components available and compatible with this kit.
These upgrades include options such as the WiFi adapter (required for some upgrades), improved cyclotron and power cell LEDs.
You can even modify your Hasbro Neutrona Wand swith a new bargraph and vent lights.

Speakers
There are many options available and it's really up to you. We recommend taking two 3" speakers which is more than enough to Pack a punch.

Battery
More Info- A regulated 5V is required to power the system with up to 2 amps is recommended.
- The TalentCell Rechargeable 3000mAh 12V/5V battery Pack is recommended as it has input connections to output both 5v and 12v without modifications/added components needed. The 12V/5V TalentCell can be useful if you decide to use a 12V amp for your Proton Pack audio. However any other battery can work as long as it meets the power requirements indicated.
